POST-GRUNGE BLUES

This week Andy welcomes Jay Porks back to the program for a lively discussion on the under-loved subgenre known as “Post-Grunge.” After Nirvana and it’s ilk blew up in the early 90’s, record companies began signing every band that came close to a “grunge” sound or look. While most of the bands seemed like carbon copies of other, better bands there were still a few quality rock groups that thrived with a “post-grunge” sound. Jay and Andy dissect this era that went from 1994-2000. Thank you so much for checking out The Andy Derer Show and while you’re at it, be sure to check out The Jay Porks Experience!
