Episode #126 of The Andy Derer Show! “Post-Grunge Blues” with special guest Jay Porks

Listen/watch the episode on the Youtube video above, listen on Stitcher, listen at The Andy Derer Show or on ITunes.

This week Andy welcomes Jay Porks back to the program for a lively discussion on the under-loved subgenre known as “Post-Grunge.” After Nirvana and it’s ilk blew up in the early 90’s, record companies began signing every band that came close to a “grunge” sound or look. While most of the bands seemed like carbon copies of other, better bands there were still a few quality rock groups that thrived with a “post-grunge” sound. Jay and Andy dissect this era that went from 1994-2000. Thank you so much for checking out The Andy Derer Show and while you’re at it, be sure to check out The Jay Porks Experience!
