Episode #127 of The Andy Derer Show! “The Whole Love” with special guest Spencer Tweedy

Spencer Tweedy

This is an encore presentation of The Andy Derer Show from November 2014. Here are the original show notes:

This week Andy had the opportunity to chat with a talented young drummer Spencer Tweedy. He drums for his dad Jeff Tweedy’s new project aptly named Tweedy and they just released one of the years greatest albums Sukierae. Andy and Spencer also discuss recording at the Wilco loft, his earliest Wilco memories and Spencer’s love for the hip hop group Run the Jewels. The guys also laugh about Nik Wallenda walking a tightrope between the famous “Wilco” towers (actually called Marina City). Spencer is a bright and funny guy with plenty of cool stories. Thanks for checking out The Andy Derer Show!
