Andy has been writing about music since 1998. In 1999 he wrote record reviews for Hinsdale Central’s school newspaper The Devil’s Advocate. Flash forward to 2014, where he rekindled his love for writing about music on the Connecticut-based pop culture website Empty Lighthouse. The following year he contributed multiple pieces to Chicagoist. He continues to create bi-weekly writings on the wide-world of music. If you would like to send a pitch regarding an upcoming Chicago-based concert or an upcoming album release, please send an email to andrewmartinderer@gmail.com. Thanks for reading!
